For the sensitive being, beauty is a form of functional grace. It attracts us to processes that conserve energy, systems that create order, and environments that promote well-being. It is, at its core, the feeling of things working as they should.

Perhaps our being-ness is the way of nature, of life, of the world.
But this is awakened only by direct experience, by engagement with the world.
The cyclic nature of life demands that we re-invent the biological wheel, over and over again.
So that, even though everything is new, nothing is new.
