Today’s schools are rich in information but poor in perception. Children live in words, screens, and symbols, while their senses—their primary tools of knowing—remain undernourished. Awakening Beauty brings learning back to contact: with materials, movement, space, and life itself.
The book reframes beauty not as art or decoration, but as a biological intelligence that guides right action, attention, and coherence. Learning becomes effortless when observation is protected—before explanation, instruction, and evaluation interfere.

Jinan K. B is a researcher, educator, and a ‘seer’ exploring the biological intelligence underlying beauty, cognition, and values. For over three decades, he has worked across education, design, and indigenous knowing systems to reveal how life learns, creates, and knows naturally—without instruction or ideology. Living with non-literate artisans transformed his understanding of intelligence as a sensory, embodied participation with the world — a “knowing by being.”
Through initiatives such as Being in Beauty, Do-Nothing Parenting, and Natural Cognition Retreats, Jinan invites people to reclaim their innate aesthetic and cognitive wholeness. His work exposes how education and ego fracture this natural intelligence and explores beauty’s potential for civilizational healing.
He is currently developing a series of See Through Books to help readers see through the book into the real world. Each title serves as an entry point into central themes like knowledge, childhood, parenting, illiteracy, and language, guiding readers back to the senses, the body, and the living world as the true ground of understanding and to use language consciously, carefully, and wisely.

She has worked with senior architects in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai & Bangalore before moving to Coimbatore for a better work-life balance.
She enjoys the process of design, interacting with new clients, customizing their unique set of requirements & seeing it taking shape.
When she is not immersed at work, she is doing yoga on the terrace, innovating healthy snacks or listening to music.
